Tom Moore Bronze Statue Restored at Freedom Hall

The beautiful life-size bronze, of Tom Moore, donated in 2005 by the UPHA, recently received some much needed work to preserve and restore the statue.

Artist Douwe Blumberg was commissioned by the United Professional Horsemen's Association some years ago to complete the masterpiece.

Moore, was honored by the United Professional Horsemen's Association with the statue, as the trainer who had won more championships at the World's Championship Horse Show than any other participant in the show's history.

Tom Moore, a member of the UPHA Tom Moore Hall of Fame and the World's Championship Horse Show Hall of Fame, trained and showed multiple World's Grand Champions in all three divisions.

Commonly referred to as "The Tall Man," Moore trained World's Grand Champions CH Bellisima, CH Sultan's Starina, CH Valley View Supreme, CH Yorktown, and many more.

The life-size bronze currently stands guard outside of Freedom Hall in Louisville, Kentucky, the site of his numerous victories.
